RECALL for Land Rover Freelander & Range Rover Evoque

Land Rover Freelander and Range Rover Evoque Subject to Recall


British manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover announced the recall (recall) for two variants of the Land Rover Freelander and Range Rover Evoque.

According to Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), at least 800 units of Range Rover Evoque affected by this recall. Evoque owners should take their vehicles to authorized workshops Range Rover, for examination at the steering area.

JLR said, if the problems hasn't been repaired, it may lead to accidents and injuries to the driver and passenger.

In the meantime, there are some units of Range Rover Evoque, along with the Land Rover Freelander, was also withdrawn from circulation because it found a problem in the braking system.

"Land Rover conduct safety recall to inspect the power steering on the Range Rover Evoque. While the Freelander Range Rover Evoque dab some will also be examined on the brake calipers," Said the spokeperson of JLR.

Problems with brake caliper is exposed to 600 units of Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Freelander. There are no reports of accidents or injuries related to these two problems.

Range Rover Evoque and Land River Freelander models produced at the assembly plant Halewood, Merseyside. JLR will immediately recall this, but there is no exact time of withdrawal.
