i-Road - eco friendly from Toyota


 A personal Mobility Vehichle (PMV) has been created by Toyota. They name it i-Road. This unit is newest concept from Toyota which they have been research for 40 years in efficient energy car. This car have small dimension, eco friendly, and easy to use. Toyota i-Road run his first debut in Geneva Motor Show 2013. Toyota said the i-Road is the close result to their goal which is to create Eco Cars.

i-Road run with electric motor, and have brief body with three wheel. The drive doesn't need to use their leg for balance because the i-Road has been developed to balance. i-Road use battery (lithium-ion) to drive it 2KW engine. The battery charge done in three hours and can go up to 30 miles.

The dimension of i-Road are 2,350 mm long, 1,445 mm height and 850 mm wide which is not bigger than a regular motorcycle. This made i-Road easy to maneuver in the city or getting the park area.

Toyota i-Road can carry two passengers, their position is below the protective roof like a cabin. This make the passenger doesn't need a helm. It function like a motorcycle  which is fuel saving, easy to park and use. Toyota i-Road has other excellence in the comfortable to drive. i-Road has Active clean features that automotic to balance itself and made it easy to maneuver when rain or dry.

Toyota predicted i-Road has important part to reduce traffic and air pollution. Toyota said this vehichle is the answer for city transportion.

  2. Only yesterday i was thinking for such kind of cars and today I found one. But i believe it should use fuel as well. Only charging thing can cause trouble. Anthony Bush
