RECALL - Million KIA and Hyundai car

Because the failure in electric switch, Hyundai Motor Co and KIA Motors Corp has to recall 1.7 million car units in United States. This is one of the biggest recall regarding to this failure.

They recalled it due the electric switch failure which are connected to the braking light. This is continuity from 500,000 car units recall because the same issue back to 2009.

It suppose to when the driver hit the brake pedal, electric switch of this car light the braking light and turn off the cruise control. But because they have issued in the switch, the braking light sometime offline and the cruise control doesn't offline automatically.

Although, this problem doesn't interfere the brake function, but the affect of braking light can be dangerous, especially for a car who's behind it.

This recall encompass 1,059,824 Hyundai car from various model, such Accent and Tucson 2007 model to 2009, Elantra 2007 to 2010, Santa Fe 2007 to 2011, Veracruz 2008 to 2009 and Genesis 2010 to 2011, also Sonata 2011.

Meanwhile, KIA car who has same issued are Rondo and Sportage 2007 model to 2010, Sorento 2007 to 2011, Sedona 2007, Soul 2010 to 2011 and Optima 2011. Total are 623,658 car who got effect of this recall.

E4U - vehicle for lazy person

Hyundai car manufacture is trying to innovation with their Personal commuter vehicle, the named it E4U. With this vehicle, each person doesn't need to walking anymore in the future.

Hyundai Motor CO is showing their personal mobility vehicle in Seoul Motor Show 2013. This vehicle was designed itself by Advanced Design Department in their own Company.

The inisial "E" in the title is represented the word "egg", evolution or ecology. Other brand such as Toyota, Honda and GM was also known that they developed the same type of vehicle.

Because the E4U is a personal vehicle, then it only can one person to driving it. The unique part of this vehicle is this vehicle doesn't have common wheel, but they are using "ball" to make this vehicle more easily turn around in any direction.

But to preventing this vehicle running around constantly, then they added two more wheel in the back as the safety. The back-wheel function similar as the chopper tail rotor.

Meanwhile for control, the driver can controlling this vehicle with their foot. If you want to go forward or backward or left to right, the driver only have to move their both leg.

But, because this the latest control system, then Hyundai said that the driver has to practice and familiarize oneself for driving the E4U.

Hyundai Grand Santa Fe - more larger, low price

Hyundai want to introduce Grand Santa FE 2014 in Geneva Motor Show. Grand Santa Fe have more higher, wider and longer than the Regular Santa Fe. Grand Santa Fe can fit for six or seven passenger, the luggage capacity of 60 Lt. Design of Grand Santa Fe is also different. The front grill has been revised, a new front bumper,  fog light. alloy wheel and it available for sunroof too.

Grand Santa Fe 2014 will have diesel engine with capacity 2.2 lt. That engine have power up to 197 Hp and combine with six speed automatc transmissions. Hyunda still not give detail information about that car yet. They will reveal it in Geneva Motor Show.

Grand Santa Fe first show to public in New York Auto Show last year. Hyundai Grand Santa Fe has been modified for Europe market. This car is the answer from hyundai for Europe market, SUV that can accomodate large family with reasonable price.
