SSC Tuatara challenge Bugatti Veyron SS

There is only a few info about Tuatara, made by SSC. Rumor said that the Bugatti Veyron rival, Tuatara meet dead-end.

The development of SSC now has come to the final test and Tuatara engine validation, Tuatara use twin-turbocharged 7.0 lt V8 engine. According to the Dyno data, this engine reach 1,350 hp and 1,290 lb ft, and using 91 octane fuel.

If we compared to the fastest car production in the world, Bugatti Veyron Super Sport only have power 1,183 Hp. But SSC said that potential of Tuatara not only that, if buyer doesn't want to attach with the regulation, they can have 1,700 Hp Tuatara.

 

The test steps is to know thea ability of the engine when in 5,500 rpm and being added more weight, resemble of Tuatara run in slippy hill.

Three years of Tuatara Development, SSC said that their car easily to control. All the power streamed to the back wheells from it's seven speed automatic transmission, or seven speed manual transmission.
