Toyota Harrier 2014 Only For japan Market

Toyota has just released a new image for their new Harrier 2014, and it will be only sold in JDM version (Japanese Domestic Market).

Toyota Harrier 2014 is a rebadge result from Lexus RX with many modification. This model has got modification in front fascia area. Such as,  has more sharp in headlight, a transparent plastic grill, intake Avalon, back spoiler and new back light design, and others feature. This version only for Asia consumer.

There's no info yet about Toyota Harrier 2014 engine, but from the pictures, Harrier will use hybrid engine, with big power and environmentally friendly.

If Harrier 2014 was used V6 engine 3.5 lt, as similar as RX with two electric engine and with Ni-MH battery. The result is Harries will have power to 295 Hp and Harrier 2014 can accelerated from 0 to 62 Mph in 7.8 second before it's reaching it maximum speed (200 Km/Hour)


Their plan is going to enter the market in the end of 2013.

New Generation of Toyota Prius will use Hydrogen fuels?

By joining in Toyota Motor show 2013 event that will be held next month, Toyota will introduce car that powered with hydrogen. The question is, is this will be the next Prius?

Hyundai might confident about themselves as the first car manufacture that using hydrogen fuels in a racing car, ix35 FCEV. Now, Toyota turn to show off they capable to launch a car with hydrogen fuels, and it will be started in Tokyo Motor Show 2013 event.

Toyota has doing some test to their hydrogen car. The last test was conducted in Japan, a little info about the test is the test car similar like the Prius cars. This car has been tested for 500 Km and has power up to 134 BHP.

Toyota has not announce the title for their hydrogen car, but it might be lead to the New Prius. Until this moment, Prius still attached with hybrid version of Toyota, which is famous around the world.

Toyota GT 86 New Innovation with Sedan Body?

Last march, Tetsuya Tada as Chief Engineer GT 86 Coupe said that Some Toyota Engineers is secretly developing a sedan body version and shooting brake from GT 86 Coupe, then the company know it and they cancel that project.

In the same time, Tada wants GT 86 become one of the Toyota Family, just like the MINI and BMW relationships. And perhaps, Tada dreams will become reality because one of internal source said that Toyota is allowing the GT 86 Sedan Project.

The Sedan Body will have four door, it's different from the coupe version that have passenger capacity 2+2. Toyota more prefer Sedan body version than the convertible version that rumor never be reality.

There no more detail info but it will be used Boxer Subaru Engine with 200 Hp that support the Wheelbase.

GT 86 Sedan Version will still with sporty aura and it might be using the Hybrid R system that has been showed in Frankfurt Motor Show 2013.

Toyota, one of the biggest car manufacture from Japan will use new platform to all their car models, starting with the New Prius 2015.

All the new generation of Toyota will be more compact, light and more cheap to build and also more easily to drive.

Toyota New Global Architecture or TNGA is a respond for recall policy because the safety issues that hit some Toyota car in the last decades. This strategy also to increase their competition level to their forever rival (Honda) and more tightly competition from Ford and GM.

Toyota introduce their new platform just like the Volkswagen, Dacia (Renault) and voldo does. But Toyota said that there a difference for their new platform for the others, which is  in the hips point for the driver seat that allowing to setting press body for the feet and the head area to all similar class, it's meant that car with size similar such as C segment's car (Corolla, Prius and Aurius0 will share same development line for design and component.

Kato also added that this procedure will save 30% of fund and time development. TNGA also will help to lower the height level and the center gravity of Toyota car.

"Toyota Fun-Vii is a smartphone on four-wheels" Toyota's President.

This creative car has a gigantic touch screen in it's side of car. The gigantic touch screen has function just like a phone or tablet device, it's allowing the drivers to make more personal to their car. By touching the gigantic screen, you can change the colour, the display content or giving an imagen or text in it.

Toyota Released United Version of Land Cruiser 2014

Carrying the legacy as an off road since 50 years ago, Toyota introduced a Land Cruiser 2014 that only will be sold in United States market. Land Cruiser now has changed from an off road vehicle only to a luxurious fancy vehicle.

Although European version of Land Cruies has got facelift edition, The United States version of Land Cruiser 2014 also made from regenerated of 2013 variant. All of the optional become a standar equipment, the passenger capacity also increase to 8 people.

Land Cruiser has V8 5.7 lt DOHC engine, that can produced power to 381 Hp/5,600 rpm and 401 lb.ft/3,600 RPM of torque. 90 percent of torque can be reached in 2,200, it made more dominant in the road. This car can tow to 3,855 kg weight.

Giant Industry of Automotive from Japan, Toyota is successfully pass BMW as the most highest value of Car Manufacture. Four Japan Car Manufacture Recall 3.4 million car

Four Japan car manufacture, Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Mazda are doing campaign to recall their million cars, it's because they had issued in the airbag.

There was five cases in Japan and United States involved the airbag. The airbag can't work perfectly. Toyota said that there was a part in the airbag that indicated technical failure so it made the airbag expand and explode un-normally when impact.

Airbag will fill with excessive pressure, the result are iron compound in the inflator will shatter and the flake will go out from the airbag and potential hurting  the passenger.

Spare Part company of this airbag is Takata. Their product was used by all the car that being recall. Toyota is recalling 1.73 million units in over the world, Honda is recalling 1.14 million units, Nissan is recalling 480,000 units and Mazda is recalling 45,500 units. The spare part change only takes one to two hours for all model.'

Corolla release two new model cars

Two Model of Toyota Corolla will be released this year.

Before 2013 Corolla series launch, Toyota has launched their two new variant, Corolla LE and Corolla S Edition.

Corolla LE will take a luxurious concept, it offer comfort and more in entertainment features such as, display audio facilitated with  Entune and Navigation, a leather seat that can be set and the heat features, also special edition carpet and unique emblem on exterior.

Corolla S Edition target consumer are consumers who want sporty aura from saloon type of car. The car will provide with 17 inch wheels, back spoiler, unique lava design on exterior and also special emblem.

Toyota will show their FT-86 Open Concept in convertible version on March. When this car will be produced?

Before it being produce, Chief Engineer 86, Tetsuya tada said that if there a request from a buyer, he want to meet with them. Tetsuya said that because this idea still being develop.

"When the time is right, i bet there will be a buyer for 86 convertible. So now what i really think is about the car windows and back suspension for the car"

Just like the Coupe version, 86 convertible will give different sensation of driving.
"If you look at our design in Milan Studio, I'm sure you'll get the message"

Tada also said if the coupe version not succeed then there will be no 86 convertible version, but thanks to all of you, The 86 has success.

i-Road - eco friendly from Toyota

 A personal Mobility Vehichle (PMV) has been created by Toyota. They name it i-Road. This unit is newest concept from Toyota which they have been research for 40 years in efficient energy car. This car have small dimension, eco friendly, and easy to use. Toyota i-Road run his first debut in Geneva Motor Show 2013. Toyota said the i-Road is the close result to their goal which is to create Eco Cars.

i-Road run with electric motor, and have brief body with three wheel. The drive doesn't need to use their leg for balance because the i-Road has been developed to balance. i-Road use battery (lithium-ion) to drive it 2KW engine. The battery charge done in three hours and can go up to 30 miles.

The dimension of i-Road are 2,350 mm long, 1,445 mm height and 850 mm wide which is not bigger than a regular motorcycle. This made i-Road easy to maneuver in the city or getting the park area.

Toyota i-Road can carry two passengers, their position is below the protective roof like a cabin. This make the passenger doesn't need a helm. It function like a motorcycle  which is fuel saving, easy to park and use. Toyota i-Road has other excellence in the comfortable to drive. i-Road has Active clean features that automotic to balance itself and made it easy to maneuver when rain or dry.

Toyota predicted i-Road has important part to reduce traffic and air pollution. Toyota said this vehichle is the answer for city transportion.

Toyota will show their new variant FT 86 Open Concept in Geneva Motor Show 2013. This car will be the beginning of GT 86 convertible development. Public know that Toyota want to introduce GT 86 Convertible in Geneva but Toyota said that only a variant of GT 86 concept will be introduced.

This car will be known as FT 86 Open Concept, the car will be introduced before it being produced. The fact is, overall the design is almost same like the production unit, only a slight change will be made. FT 86 Open Concept cabin identic with known coupe models. This car will available in white and blue sea color and yellow carpet. Audio system with small model will be chosen for the car.

There's a gossip about Toyota, it's said that Toyota will make new sport coupe Toyota GT 86 Convertible type. The gossip appear to be true, this happen after a GT 86 Convertible caught in camera in South Africa. Toyota GT 86 Convertible (white color) park elegantly in South Africa. This car caught without camouflage to blur the brand.

The news said that Toyota has completed the GT 86 Convertible. Their plan is to introducing the Toyota GT 86 Convertible in Geneva Motor Show 2013 but the Japan car manufactured not give any official confirmation yet. Perhaps GT 86 Convertible will use same engine as the reguler 86. It's mean that Boxer 2,0 Lt engine of Subaru will keep attach on GT 86 Convertible. This engine can burst power 197 Hp and using manual transmission or six automatic transmission.

Toyota GT 86 TRD - Toyola showing their sport coupe GT 86 that has been modified by TRD. The result is more sporty look in GT 86 standard.
