Terrafugia TF-X - Flying car of Chopper car?



Terrafugia "The Flying Car" still not ready and at least need more two years to mass production. But this car manufacture from Massachusetts, United States always test their ability and now, they event introduced new design of their flying car.

Not like their last version of flying car that using wings, their latest design is using rotor blades similar as chopper. They named it Terrafugia TF-X. This design more compact than last version of Terrafugia.

So to make this car fly, the Terrafugia TF-X concept doesn't have to take off as a plane but it can flying vertical like a helicopter. This flying car has two rotor blades on the left and right car. And when in the air, the side rotor will automatic fold so it doesn't interfere the aerodynamic aspect. Meanwhile, the thrust force of the car is using the conventional engine.


Rotor technology on the flying car usually use by the United States Marine. They called it V-22 Osprey.
"We feel this is the right time to us to share vision about future" Vice President of Business Development Terrafugia, Richard Gersh.

This company based in Woburn, Massachusetts. The company still  development their new technology before it's going to be mass production.
