Pirelli predict about tire in the future. According to them, The future tire will be more slim and high.Australian Pirelli Technical Manager, Simon Pool said to the tire producer that they will face a same challenge in the future, which are to creating a tire that pass Europe regulation for minimize the noise sound and to increasing the tire durable.
The only one answer for this tires are to change the tire shape to more slim and high.
Simon Pool said "The problem that we face in the tire design is to wide in size, this problem made noisy sound and less durable"
The tire that simon mention is a tire with diameter 21 inch. That size is more higher that the regular tire, 16 inch. This idea came to follow the need of high quality tire in the future and also to pass the European regulation about tire. This regulation have been announced last year and will update in 2016 and 2020.
The new technology that been developed will decrease the noisy factor and increase the tire durable, also increase the break capability in wet area. Simon Pool also said one of design about this prediction is in Audi Urban Concept, a car with two persons capacity, very light and have tires that look like a motorcycle tires than a car tires.
