Chevrolet Captiva 2.0L Diesel All Wheel Drive (AWD)
Chevrolet Captiva 2.0L Diesel All Wheel Drive (AWD) car, received the award as the most environmentally friendly diesel cars in 2012.Automotive industry can proud because the varian flagship (Chevrolet Captiva 2.0L Diesel All Wheel Drive (AWD)) of General Motors (GM) Indonesia was crowned as diesel cars premises at low exhaust emissions. The coronation was given by the Ministry of Environment (MOE) of the Republic of Indonesia in the Blue Sky Program Public Expose 2012, Monday, December 17, 2012.
Awards received Captiva 2.0L Diesel AWD car in the category of compliance evaluation standards exhaust emissions of new vehicles types. It is an effort to encourage the automotive industry to produce low-emission vehicles based on the best available technologies (Best Available Technology).
Parameters to be monitored through random sampling covering emissions of CO, HC, PM and NOx, fuel consumption (carbon balance) and CO2. The measurement results of this test will be compared with the value of low-emission.
The award was given by the Minister of Environment, Balthasar Kambuaya, to the General Motors Indonesia, represented by Maria Sidabutar as Director of Public Relations of General Motors Indonesia.
