2000 Jaguar F-Type Already booked

Although not yet officially sold, 2,000 people had already lined up to get a new sports car Jaguar F-Type. That number is quite large and is one-third of the annual target set for this car.

 According to the plan, this new car will be officially sold in 2013 despite Jaguar exhibited on several occasions.

Now, the Jaguar  that the existing 2000 Jaguar F-Type are booked. This is one-third of the target to reach 6000-7000 Jaguar unit in 2013.

The buyers that are widely acclaimed British producer came from Europe and America. This fact raises up on Jaguar to increase their sales. For since the global financial crisis in 2008, the brand has not been able to re-print the total sales of 140,000 cars.

Jaguar Global Brand Director Adrian Hallmark said that there is a lot of potential in the sports car segment, and that the success of the F-Type should be able to have a positive effect on other models.

That way, the target F-Type was likely to be increased to 10,000 units per year.

F-Type itself has been shown several times. This car has a choice of three engines power the F-Type standard models are powered 340 hp from a supercharged V6 engine. Then there were the F-Type S that has a power 380 hp with the same engine.

While most models of the F-Type was carrying a V8 engine which powered 495 hp.

But, no matter the buyer will choose the model which, all types of Jaguar F-Type will be able to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km / h in less than 5 seconds.

Seeing this, Jaguar Land Rover to produce this car felt happy while proving that since the car was launched in 2008 has provided a real success.

"More than 52,000 XF have been sold in the UK and the award has increased to more than 100 at a global level," said Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover UK Jeremy Hicks.

The success of Jaguar XF by Jaguar is one of the success in introducing new diesel engine capacity of 2.2 liter which they claim provide high fuel efficiency while still friendly to the environment.


In a note Jaguar, this engine produces only 135 g CO2 / km with an efficiency of 23.5 km / liter.
