Detroit Auto Show 2014 Short Preview

Detroit Auto Show 2014 or North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2014 will be held in 2014, January. Detroit first international auto show was held in 1987, it began when Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA) has idea to held an international auto show in Detroit. Before 1987, Detroit only held a regional auto show.

According to their (NAIAS) statistic report, Detroit Auto Show has more than 700,000 public show attendances last year (2013), including industry preview attendances (28,326) and charity preview attendances (13,069).

Detroit Auto Show 2013 has been successful introduced 16 concept cars and more than 40 production car.

Detroit Auto Show Schedule Dates (2014)

 Detroit Auto Show Schedule dates 2014 will be divided into three category:

• Press Preview, in January 13 - 14th

 More than 5,000 Journalists in 62 Countries attended last year. Detroit Auto Show is a global automotive community that comes together to get the latest news and events. Many Industry's top leader and thinkers will attend to this auto show.

• Industry Preview, in January 15 - 16th

More than 20,000 Automotive Professionals that representing around 2,000 companies was attended last year. This event has became an unique networking opportunity.

• Charity Preview, in January 17th

 The North American International Auto Show Charity has been sponsored by Charter One, RBS Citizens, Comcast spotlight, MGM Grand Detroit, Pandora, Sprint Velocity, Opportunity Detroit, M Live Media Group, Advance Digital Media Group

• And Public Show, in January 18 - 26th

Mclaren P13 - Porsche 911 and Audi R8 will meet their challenger

Recently, Mclaren P13 been tested in around Europe. The Mclaren P13 price is predicted around 140,000 Euro and it said will using a modification of Ricardo version. A modification version will use V8 engine with 3.8 of capacity. It will have power around 450 horsepower.

This model will become the smallest model of Mclaren variant. As a start, they will launch the Coupe version first, then the convertible version. Mclaren P13 will have more light weight than Mclaren 12C and will use same feature, which is a carbon fibre structure.

Paul Walker lost his life in car accident

Paul Walker is one of the actor in Fast & Furious. Paul Walker "Brian O'Conner" is the main actor of this film. He lost his life in car accident at 15:30 in Valencia, Santa Clarita, California, United States.

Paul Walker and his friend drove a Red Porsche Carrera GT. Then the car was lost control and hit a tree and a electric pole. Effect of the accident was severe and the car itself was on fire. All the part of Porsche GT was wrecked.

The Birth of Ford Mustang 2015

Ford Mustang 2015 - a car manufacture from USA will launch their new macho car in this December. The 6th generation of Ford Mustang will be held at NAIAS 2014 on 5th December. This car will be equipped with an engine with capacity of 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost. This engine can generated power up to 275 horsepower. Beside that, there are also another option for the buyer which are a 3.7-liter V6 engine with 305 horsepower and the 5.0-liter V8 engine with 420 horsepower.

There are some changes in exterior and interior design of Ford Mustang 2015. It's inspired from Evos concept in Frankfurt Motor Show 2011. For the interior design, it gets touched from MyFord infotainment system. Moreover, they gave more character in the roof line, more prominent in the front grille, a slimmer headlights, a new rear lights, a fused with an integrated spoiler for the exterior design.
