Jaguar introduce their first SUV "Jaguar C-X17" in Dubai Motor Show 2013, although it still in concept.

Before The Jaguar C-X17 enter the production line, Jaguar is doing a massive promotion in all opportunity they get. Just like they did in Dubai Motor Show 2013.

Rumor said that the Jaguar C-X17 concept will enter the production line in the end of 2016, and will use 2017 in their title car.

C-x17 concept use modular platform, which is this model will compete with BMW 3-Series. C-X17 has four configuration for its seats, a futuristic infotainment System, a full-length console, a meridian sound system, a leather seat with two color and 23 inch alloy wheels.

Jaguar F-Type Coupe being tested

Jaguar-Land Rove is preparing a new model, which is F-Type Coupe. It's said that it will launch in next year.

Jaguar F-Type was seen doing a test in the road with camouflage body paint. Jaguar F-Type have bigger dimension than earlier model. In fact, these coupe model is look similar with Jaguar C-X16 concept.

In the picture, Jaguar F-Type design is more bigger, unfortunately the back side of F-Type not so visible. it might be Jaguar has set new design for the coupe back bumper, to make this model more bigger than the standard roadster.


Rumor said that Jaguar F-Type Coupe will be provided these line-up engine, V6 3.0 lt engine, 340 HP. Then V6 3.0 lt plus supercharged with 380 HP and V8 5.0 lt engine supercharged that produce 495 HP. There is possible it will use the new engine 2.0 lt plus four cylinder turbocharged with power 240 hp and 340 Nm torque.

After doing a debut in Goodwood Festival 2013, the newest model Jaguar Project 7 is back to show off in Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance 2013.

Jaguar Project 7 itself is a hardcore variant from Jaguar F-Type Roadster. It been build by covering all it's body with special aluminum material.

The production of Project 7 is designed to memories the history won of seven won in Le Mans race event, in 1951 and 1990.

This Project 7 is provided with supercharge V8 engine with 5.0 lt capacity that has power to 550 hp. And has maximum torque 680 Nm, it will combine with Quickshift eight speed transmission.

With that engine, The Project 7 can accelerated from 0 to 62 mph in 4.2 second.

Jaguar in the middle of develop new aluminum platform architecture. This Platform will be used to complete the Jaguar Models.

Jaguar XKR-S GT Limited Edition - 50 Units

 

Jaguar affirmed that they might be added XKR-S GT car quota, which is limited edition status. Jaguar will add the quota if there was a large demand from the customer.

Earlier, This car manufacture from England announced that XKR-S GT only will be builded 30 units. This car will take Model XK platform and will be tagged price 174,000 dollar. And it will be marketed in United States and Canada area.

Adrian Hallmark ask the Jaguar boss said that the production capacity of Jaguar XKR-S GT can be added 20 units more if there was a request.

Jaguar F-Type destroyed by Journalist

Test drive not always run smoothly and this happened in England. A Jaguar F-Type crash when been tested by Journalist.

This Jaguar F-Type got heavily damage in the front left, from front to the side of the car. This was the first accident that Jaguar got since it been launched. This happened because the journalist can't controlled the car so it crashed and hit a stone wall in the road.

There was no casualty or injury because of this accident. When they tested the car, the condition of the road was wet and the journalist was run to fast.

Jaguar F-Type has been announced as the World Car Design Of the Year 2013, in New York Auto Show. In this event, VW Golf 7 also got title as World Car of The Year too. Jaguar F-Type has been chosen by 66 journalists from 23 countries and successfully beated other competitor such as Mazda 6 and Aston Martin Vanquish.

The experts are Masatsugu Arimoto (Japan - Freelance design Journalist), Silvia Baruffaldi (Italy - Auto & Design magazine), Gernot Bracht (Germany - Pforzheim Design School), Sam Livingstone (U.K. - Car Design Research and Royal College of Art), and Tom Matano (USA - School of Industrial Design at Academy of Art university in San Francisco).

RECALL for Land Rover Freelander & Range Rover Evoque

Land Rover Freelander and Range Rover Evoque Subject to Recall

British manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover announced the recall (recall) for two variants of the Land Rover Freelander and Range Rover Evoque.

According to Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), at least 800 units of Range Rover Evoque affected by this recall. Evoque owners should take their vehicles to authorized workshops Range Rover, for examination at the steering area.

While most models of the F-Type was carrying a V8 engine which powered 495 hp.

But, no matter the buyer will choose the model which, all types of Jaguar F-Type will be able to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km / h in less than 5 seconds.

"With a proud heritage, a sculpted design, precision engineering and cabin that wow factor, the XF is a worthy winner of this award," lugasnya.
