Aston Martin Out of The Box - Lagonda brand for SUV

Aston Martin is feeling good because they have make sure that their new generation technology will be supported with Mercedes - AMG, and now they focus to their new model car.

To increase their sales, Aston Martin is discussing to raise the Lagonda brand. Earlier in Geneva Motor Show 2009, Aston Martin has showed Lagonda concept car that being taked from Mercedes Benz GL basis.

With Lagonda brand, Aston Martin can expanded their car models to the SUV version without losing their image as Aston Martin. The Lagonda SUV project was stop briefly after being introduced, but their competitor such as Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Maserati that also development car to SUV has pushed Aston Martin to make sure that project become reality.

"Lagonda model is more than just  SUV", The CEO of Aston Martin, Ulrich Bez said that limousine and compact sedan is also being develop.

"I confident that in the future we will able to see Lagonda in the road. With Lagonda brand, we have opportunity to develop car beside our basis car and it might be it will be a SUV"

"In five to ten years from now, all model above V8 Vantage, Rapide, Vanquish will use lagonda Brand"

Aston Martin CC100 Speedster Concept

To celebrate Aston Martin 100th year, they make a sexy Concept car. They called it CC100 Speedster Concept Car, it will be at Nurburgring 24 hour race.

CC100 Speedster use 6.0 lt V12 engine and can run to 62 mph in 4 seconds. The CC100 Speedster has single clutch with automatic six speed. The body is adapted to the Vanquish, the chassis is based on V12 Vantage. This car designed by Marek Reichman (Aston's design director0 and Miles Nurnberger (Chief exterior designer).

Aston Martin One-77 - Dubai Authority official Car

Dubai Authority keep strengthen their units with luxurious sport cars. Recently, Dubai Authority chose Aston Martin One-77 as their patrol car.

This sport car was not the first sport car that Dubai Authority have. Before Aston Martin One-77, Dubai Authority has bought Nissan GT-R, Lamborghini Aventador, Bentley Continental GT, Mercy SLS AMG GT, Chevy Camaro SS Coupe, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and Ferrari FF.

Just like other patrol cars, Aston Martin One-77 painted with white color as it based color, combining with green accent in the hood, the body side and the back side of the patrol car.

It need 2,700 hours to build an Aston Martin One-77, and it build by 27 technician. Aston Martin One-77 provided with 7,3 lt V12 engine. It hold power to 750 HP with maximum torque 553 lb.ft.

This car available in six speed manual transmission. And can accelerated from standstill to 62 mph on 3.5 seconds. Meanwhile it maximum speed is 321 Km/Hour.
