RECALL - Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2013

Mitsubishi car manufacture announced recall due a failure in Outlander Sport 2013. There are three sectors of failure, gasoline sensor, rear brake lights and transmission lever.

More than 4,539 units has failures in rear brake lights. Mitsubishi hope that all of the owner return their car to the nearest dealer to fixing the problem.

They said that the rear brake light was activated continuously or blink without command from the brake pedal. This failure can potentially for causing accident.

Others 3,724 units has same problem also, this time the problem is the failure of gasoline sensor to sent a signal. This signal lead to fake data in the gasoline indicator.

Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2013 has third issues, this issue involved to the transmission lever. The transmission lever can be moved to the Park (P) position without you push the brake pedal. Of course this condition can lead to accident or injuring the passenger.

All this failure was directly reviewed by National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Meanwhile, the recall decision still for United Stated region, and from other regions in the world still wait for the Mitsubishi information.

Mitsubishi Stop Outlander Hybrid production?

Mitsubishi Motor Corp has stopped temporary production of Outlander plug-in Hybrid crossover PHEV Outlander variant and i-MiEV electric car variant, because they found problem in the batteries.

Lithium ion battery that plug in Outlander plug-in Hybrid was melted in one of car dealer and the others battery was burned in one of the manufacture factory.

Mitsubishi itself still not found the reason why this happened. Mitsubishi still doing investigation for this problem and the shipment to the customer are temporary delay.

Outlander Plug-in Hybrid itself only sold in Japan and since it first launched, Mitsubishi has sold 4 thousand unit and so far, it potential will get that problem. Mitsubishi still not giving recall statement before the investigation was done.

Namie Koketsu, Mitsubishi spokesperson said that they hope the problem in the batteries not affect to the Outlander Hybrid launch in United States. Mitsubishi also suggest to the owner of Outlander Hybrid that not to recharge the batteries from it plug-in and deactivate the recharge feature when the car is running.

Mitsubishi build more bigger car than Outlander?

Mitsubishi manufacture car admitted that they plan to build new Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV). That car will be more bigger than Outlander. They aim is to lift their market in United States. To aim that, Mitsubishi wish to build Middle sedan and compact crossover. This was said directly from Executive Vice President of Corporate planning for Mitsubishi Motors North America, Masatoshi Hasegawa.

"We saw there a chance to build in Middle Sedan segment and we still studying for bigger variant than Outlander" Masatoshi Hasegawa.

But, Mitsubishi admitted they still studying about this because they can't decided it in one night. Furthermore, Mitsubishi sales last year has been decreased in United States up to 27%, with only sales around 57,790 units.

RECALL - Thousand Ford failed in Child Safety Lock

 

Ford Manufactured Car has issued recall program for thousand of their product. NHTSA claimed thousand Ford have issued in their Child Safety Lock System.

NHTSA said that 6,534 units of Ford has been recall, such as Ford Focus, C-Max and Escape. Ford recall their car which production date from 16 to 21 November 2012 and made from Ford Wayne Factory, MI, Louisville, KY.

NHTSA said if the problem not been solved, they worried it can lead to accident. Ford suggest to the owner to visit their official dealer so they can fix the problem. Ford also said that it's free of charge.

For the engine, almost all of it made the car special. Airway channel, inter cooler  and original factory exhaust been removed and replaced with AMS. The power increase from 280 HP to 353 HP and 486 Nm torque.

There are many other modification that can increase Evo X power to 400-800 HP, but Gates said that he modified Evo X to creating an ideal Evo X not the fastest one. 4B11T proved can hold huge power and has been proved in many race event.

"wheels and tires are perfectly match. All of this has been studied, developed, and tested. This made 311RS is an ideal Evo X. All feels so balance" Said Gates.

The new power combined with new suspension packet from JRZ. The brake component from Girodisc and Custom wheel 18 inch from Rays will be fit with tires from Nitto. New body kit will make 311RS more Evo. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X will be sold for 49,000 dollar.

Mitsubishi G4 concept - Mirage of sedan

Mitsubishi gived a leak about their new sedan in Geneva Motor Show 2013, G4 Concept.

Mithsubishi plan to show their new car in Bangkok Motor Show. This Japan car Manufactured explained that G4 Concept will enter for production soon. The rumour said that G4 Concept will be producted and assembly in Mitsubishi Factory at Thailand. G4 Concept assembly together with hatchback Mirage.


It said too that Mitsubishi G4 Concept will be Mirage Sedan and plan to be sell accross Asia. But the detail about their plan is still not been told yet. Mitsubishi will publish officially in Bangkok Motor Show 2013 event.

Mitsubishi Evo X 311RS - Build for the pro from the pro

After 3 years manufactured process, 311RS has finally done. 311RS development taken from previous generation, Gates311 Evo X. 311RS made from three generation combine into one. New CA-MIEV and GR-HEV - Mitsubishi

 To celebrate Automotive Geneva Motor Show 2013, Mitsubishi want to tempt the public with their new teaser of their concept cars. Their first teaser show the front of the car and the second one is showed the back of the car.

Mitsubishi named their two model, CA-MIEV and GR-HEV. CA-MIEV will use electric, meanwhile the GR-HEV type is Sport Utility Truck (SUT) and adopted the hybrid technology. Mitsubishi said that CA-MIEV will use battery that can hold more energy and high efficiency. The interesting part is, the recharges system is using wireless.

This model also been said that will using new motor and regenerative braking system. This car can run to 300 Km will full charge battery. Meanwhile the GR-HEV will adopt the hybrid engine, they said that it will reducing the polution. This car also will using Super Select Mitsubishi Pajero 4WD and Super All Wheel Control System.
