Spyker, Car manufacture from Deutsch has a plan to use engine source from Lotus engine. This engine will use for B6 Venator production line, with V6 engine that has 3.5 lt capacity.
Although, there no official announce yet from Spyker or Lotus. but, CEO Spyker, Victor Muller has gave his statement include a collaboration with Lotus.
muller explained that B6 Venator will use Lotus Engine. Beside of that, there also some component of Lotus that will be used for other Spyker variant, C8 Aileron.
This V6 engine with 3.5 lt capacity is belong to Lotus Evora, which is Lotus also share their block engine with Toyota V6. Total of Output that can be predicted is up to 375 Hp and will be distributed to the automatic six speed transmission.
They expect that the last price for Spyker B6 Venator will be around $150,000. for the coupe version.
