Chevrolet plans to design a new sport car, this plan is maded to update their sport car segment. The new sport car from Chevrolet will face the twins Toyota GT 86 and Subaru BRZToyobaru or Toyoata-subaru has been cooperated to build Toyota 86 or Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ. Now these two cars will get real competition from Chevy.
If they get the green light, the new Chevy Sport will be produce ASAP. The new Chevy Sport will uses rear-wheel drive system configuration. This platform is owned by Alpha, or the same platform in Cadillac ATS.
Details information about Chevrolet sport still limited. However, it is reported engine specifications will not be much different from the Toyota GT 86 or Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ.
