RECALL - BMW SUV X5

BMW recall SUV X5 and give free of service

BMW, car manufactured from German has recently announced to recall at least 30,000 Cars. It's because failure in brake system. According to their announced, they will recall SUV X5 in United States. These cars are been sold between 2007 to 2010 and producted between 12 Sept. 2006 and 18 March 2010. BMW said they have leaked in brake oil from the hose. These failure can cause less traction and lead to accident. The brake itself is working well but not effective.

In last 2010, BMW itself has announced recall for 200,000 Cars which has same problem. But, BMW doesn't recalled the SUV X5 in that time. BMW so far did not got any information about accident according this failure. The BMW itself will make free hose brake change, all the cost of the repair will be borne by the BMW.

There are 3 variant about this car:  X5 xDrive50i, X5 xDrive35i and X5 xDrive35d.
the name xDrive is refers to the standard all wheel drive system. This system will give the X5 capability to encounter all weather.

Specs:

35i - these variant will be featured with a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 that produces 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, a standard eight-speed automatic transmission
50i - these variant will be featured with a twin-turbo V8 good for 400 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque, a standard eight-speed automatic transmission
35d - these variant a fuel-efficient turbodiesel inline-6 that produces 265 hp and 425 lb-ft of torque, a six speed automatic transmission.
