We can see that latest car not using cassette player. Now, the common infotainment in the car are radio and CD player. But in the future, either CD nor radio will vanish. It will be replaced with smartphone technology that directly integrate in car feature.
Detroit Electric become the first car without radio feature in the car. The driver and passenger has other option, such as browsing and music streaming from smartphone that planted in the car infotainment system.
"AM or FM radio become less feature in a car. It all will be changed in 2020" Thilo Koslowski, Vice President in Research firm and Technology, Gartner Inc.
Ford and Lincoln has MyFord Touch features that placed in the dashboard. Meanwhile, General Motors will introduce 4G Mobile-Internet with high speed. General Motors said that Radio and CD will be left. Chevy Sonic RS even has remove CD Players in the car to reducing the car weight.
