5 England Supercar Manufacturers

Many of supercar manufacturers are from Europe. But not all of them from Italy such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani and Maserati. Bugatti is from France, Porsche from Germany and Koenigsegg born in Sweden.

England also has many supercar manufacturers such as:

1. Mclaren
They began as Formula One team and they development as public high performance car. Many other supercar inspired from this iron horse. Mclaren is producing SLR when the work together with Mercedes Benz, later MP4-12C and the last is P1.

2. Aston Martin
Aston Martin creations are more familiar with grand Touring Model. Vanquish from Aston Martin was made to compete against Ferrari 550 and F12, this car is part of 200 mph Club. And the last one is One-77 with 750 HP.

3. Jaguar
Their emblem represent of night animal actually focused for Sedan and Cabrio. They are entering the supercar class when Jaguar was working together with Tom Walkinshaw Racing to creating 450 HP XJR-15 that only build for 50 units. Then XJ220 also being made with V12 Twin Turbo engine and the latest is C-X75 with hybrid engine.

4. Lotus
This manufacturer only focus to muscle car, Exige and Evora. But the earlier time, they have a moment with their Esprit. Esprit in earlier time has become main rival of Ferrari. Esprit only used 2.0 lt engine and 140 hp power then it being replaced with V8 engine 3.5 lt twin turbo 350 HP.

5. Noble
Noble has factory in Leeds area. Was build by Lee Noble then he sold his company. Noble Automotive has many cars, M10, M12, M14, M15, and M400. And the latest is M600 with V8 engine that being made for Yamaha "Volvo XC90".
